Description:
TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST – HUMAN RESOURCES
We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team.
In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to ensure HH Angus is attracting and hiring the best possible talent for both current and future roles. You will have the opportunity to work directly with our managers and leaders at all levels in this highly visible role. In addition to traditional sourcing strategies, you will develop new and creative recruiting approaches and you will be guiding hiring managers through the process. You will act as an ambassador for our organization by networking through industry contacts and associations and maintain strong relationships with colleges and universities. You will proactively keep a finger on the pulse of our industry and maintain an up-to-date database of high-quality candidates for when needs arise. You will provide full lifecycle recruiting , and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at large.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and determine sourcing approach
- Sources and attracts candidates using varied and innovative search methods.
- Reviews resumes, conducts initial screening, interviews and coordinates assessments.
- Active recruitment of passive candidates
- Present HH Angus as an “employer of choice” to all applicants to ensure a positive experience.
- Drafts job offer details for review and participates in job offer negotiations.
- Maintains accurate and up to date records in ATS systems (UKG)
- Monitors the labor market, talent pools and emerging issues or opportunities to attract candidates.
- Stays up to date on applicable jurisdiction and legislation
- Contributes to recruitment dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
