JOB TITLE: TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST
Status: Temporary Full-time position (8-months contract; possible extension)
Work Schedule: Remote (First month onboarding/training is hybrid 1-2 days/week in-office); Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm EST

Lifemark’s Home and Community Care (HCC) division is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and social-media savvy Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter to support our Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR) and Seniors Wellness divisions in Ontario and British Columbia!
In this role you will primarily be focused on Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist hiring as well as building sustainable talent strategies & transforming talent acquisition. You will be relied upon to contribute towards the development of robust talent pools, create positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and other colleagues. This is accomplished by being personable, friendly, and most importantly by showing pride in being a Lifemark team member. Responsibilities:
- Reporting, metrics, & recruitment analytics
- Telephone screenings, video and in-person interviews
- Direct sourcing of competitor talent
- The creation & advertisement of original, attractive job postings on internal and external job boards & niche sites
- Contribute to talent marketing campaigns including mail outs, email blasts, internal newsletters
- Attendance at career fairs and trade shows
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Progressive 1-3 years of experience as a recruiter preferably in healthcare of related industry
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, strong sourcing skills, along with a familiarity of applicant tracking systems
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions to recruitment challenges
- An understanding of the professions of physiotherapy and occupational therapy is a very strong asset.
