EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Level 8 Bachelors Degree (240 credits) in Human Resources, Business or relevant discipline.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

We are currently looking for a TA Specialist II to join our TA team based at the Boston Scientific Galway Campus. The successful candidate will be part of an energetic, talented group of TA Professionals who will have the opportunity to work with Hiring Leaders daily, supporting and understanding their recruiting needs, anticipating hiring needs and proactively identify recruiting solutions to meet those needs.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop, initiate and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies and other Staffing related processes and projects. It is an exciting role that will see the TA Specialist managing multiple clients and competing demands to attract qualified candidates and fill open positions while positioning the organization as an Employer of Choice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build strong relationships with Hiring Leaders to ensure full understanding of role requirements.
  • Coach Hiring Leaders and coordinate selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates for available positions.
  • Develop and implement organizational recruiting strategies to attract the best qualified candidates.
  • Source and screen candidates by evaluating employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge, abilities and other data relevant to the selection process.
  • Prepare, extend and negotiate competitive job offers.
  • Utilize technology for best practices in recruiting.
  • Engage resources to maximize the strategic role of Talent Acquisition and eliminate non-value-added work.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and make suggestions to improve processes, policies and strategy. May contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.
  • Carry out TA Metrics analysis to increase awareness and drive improvements.
  • Keep HR Business Partners and Hiring Leaders updated as appropriate while effectively interacting with all levels of employees, answering questions and providing information.
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise in connection with the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Work closely with outside agencies and vendors.
  • Coordinate and manage staffing project requirements with supervisors and managers.
  • Ensure the organization complies with local laws and regulations as it relates to sourcing, recruiting and hiring.
  • Be a strong brand ambassador for the Business and articulate our employer brand to attract, engage and retain talent.
  • Work with high volume requisitions while supporting multiple stakeholders.
