ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have a vacancy for a proactive and highly organised Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. You will be supporting our Ampol Future Fuels Project in Brisbane predominantly for White Collar recruitment but will also need to assist with Blue Collar if the need arises. This role will be working out of our South Brisbane office. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and welcoming team with an excellent culture.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Facilitate all phases of the recruitment process for primarily White Collar candidates.
  • Collaborate with project manager, construction manager and superintendents to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and needs of Kent.
  • Utilise the procedures, standards and processes for job postings.
  • Screens applications and recommends qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews, preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, conduct interviews with hiring managers.
  • Check’s candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records on the internal applicant tracking system.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving overall candidate experience.
  • Recruit in line with the Kent Equality, Diversity and Inclusion plan.
  • Prepare and maintain recruitment reports including weekly reporting requirements.
  • Any other adhoc requests from the Talent Acquisition Lead
