Description:

This position is only open to candidates local to the Minneapolis, MN area.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our mission driven client, located in the SW metro. This role involves partnering with leaders to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of talent. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate job descriptions, screening applications, overseeing the interview process, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

An ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting. 7-10 years of experience will be looked at in lieu of Bachelors Degree. This is a hybrid opportunity after training, with full benefits available. Beginning compensation is $70-75k, depending on qualifications.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in ADP
  • Experience with Careerbuilder and CRM
  • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and About Time
  • Proficiency in Applicant Track System
  • Experience in conducting Background Checks, Benefit Functions, and Cold Calling
  • Ability to conduct new-Employee Orientations
  • Experience in Corporate Recruiting, Conducting Phone Screens, Phone Screens, and Applicant Screening
  • Proficiency in using Indeed, LinkedIn, and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience in conducting and scheduling Interviews, Phone Interviews, and Screen Interviews
  • Familiarity with Hiring Processe

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the full recruiting lifecycle
  • Collaborate with department directors and program managers to identify and draft detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting practices and strategies based on the needs of the organization
  • Actively stay updated with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent
  • Screen applications for best fit candidates, conduct screening interviews, and select qualified candidates
  • Oversee the interview process including scheduling interviews, leading preparation of interview questions, and other hiring and selection materials
  • Attend and conduct interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Actively seek out opportunities to develop the organization’s visibility in the marketplace through researching and participating in unique recruiting opportunities and college job fairs.
