HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Build strong, credible relationships with HR, business leaders, hiring managers and critical (external) stakeholders and partners, operating as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on TA.
  • Support and consult with Hiring Managers and HR managers on their operational recruitment demand, that aligns with overall business needs, and advise on the best hiring strategy. Develop position specific recruitment plans and identify candidate pools.
  • Create attractive and exciting job descriptions to engage candidates to join the company.
  • Pro-actively source candidates (active and passive) by driving social media recruitment campaigns, using our company Sourcing Strategy and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in cooperation with the latest sourcing channels on the market. Screen, introduce and interview candidates.
  • Identify and develop appropriate sourcing channels to recruit candidates for graduation programs, internships and vacancies to include active and passive sourcing, building relationships within the labor market and participating in job fairs.
  • Maintain accurate information in the ATS to include moving candidates through the recruitment workflow, responding to candidate inquiries, and completing all required requisition fields to allow for accurate and timely reporting of processes.
  • Manage relations with external recruitment agencies and sourcing suppliers (job boards) and negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Manage the feedback and offer process to candidates in continuous cooperation with the hiring manager.
  • Optimise the internal and external recruitment processes while providing the best candidate experience for all candidates and managing hiring manager expectations on timelines and market information.
  • Create and deliver an extraordinary candidate and new hire experience.
  • Negotiate salaries, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates.
  • Provide regular market information using intelligence from both internal and external sources in order to act as a true market expert.Support the roll out of Talent Acquisition projects for the CoE Europe; this includes ATS implementation/enhancements, employer branding and social media campaigns, diversity & inclusion programs, hiring manager training, interview upskilling programs and supplier management.

Responsibilities:

DP World are currently recruiting Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the UK, Ireland and Nordics team, this role forms part of the CoE (centre of excellence) Talent Acquisition Europe and reports to the Talent Acquisition Lead.
Responsible for the full cycle recruitment activities supporting the timely and quality hiring for the organisations internal & external hiring requirements. Provides consultative recruitment advice from initial requisition through hire, including active recruiting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, skills and ability testing, pre-employments checks, compliance, offer development and delivery.
NOTE: This is a 12-14-month FTC and will be based in the Southampton with regular travel to our sites in the South.
