JOB SUMMARY:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for a variety of roles within the cannabis manufacturing industry, focusing on high-demand positions. This role involves sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates, collaborating with hiring managers, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The recruiter will maintain a strong candidate pipeline to meet the company’s growth needs, while contributing to employer branding and recruitment process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume recruitment strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales role required.
- Experience in the cannabis industry or manufacturing sector is strongly preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience.
- Certifications:
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- High Volume Recruitment:
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, focusing on high-demand roles including but not limited production technicians, quality control inspectors, packaging associates, security guards and brand ambassadors.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including online job boards, social media, industry networks, and employee referrals.
- Maintain a robust candidate pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates to meet the company’s rapid growth needs.
