Description:

Job Summary: The Talent Advisor will be responsible for partnering with the assigned service area in order to provide excellent human resources services. The primary areas of responsibility will be in talent acquisition and talent management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational management or related major from an accredited college; or a combination of education & experience required. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum of three (3) years human resources experience required. HR Certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in performance management, recruiting, and/or coaching preferred. Coaching Certification preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word; PowerPoint experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working with online applicant tracking systems and online performance management systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with firm leaders to provide trusted advisor consulting services on human resource matters.
  • Champion the firm’s corporate culture and core values. Personally, through leading by example and modeling HT3, ensuring selection of new hires in line with core values, and supporting HT3 in all aspects of human resources management.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and compliance requirements in areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain best practices in the Accounting Industry in all areas of responsibility.
  • Work with Service Area Leaders (SALs) and Office Managing Partners (OMPs) to establish campus recruiting demand for target allocated schools and ensure selection of top talent.
  • Partner with service area Campus Champions to positively represent the HoganTaylor brand on campus by coordinating campus events, beta alpha psi activities, career fairs, and on-campus interviews.
  • Develop local relationships with professors and advisors to build the HoganTaylor brand on campus.
  • Coach client-facing professional employees on a monthly basis and set goals and personal development plans which are founded in the firm’s career development program philosophy.
  • Support managers by identifying trends and development themes and providing coaching to enhance their management skills.
  • Collaborate with leaders to promote the talent development process, coach on the delivery of feedback, and assist in facilitating discussions with employees.
  • Act as a resource to employees in areas of employment issues, performance management, conflict resolution and professional development.
  • Counsel staff regarding conflict resolution, harassment, and disciplinary actions, including termination of employment.
  • Attend training programs as needed to maintain a current level of knowledge on all aspects of human resource management.
