  • Hybrid working with 2 days per week in Stratford Upon Avon

Responsibilities:

We’re making some exciting changes to the HR Division at NFU Mutual. With future-proofed capabilities, technology enabled systems, high engagement and improved career paths high on the agenda, this is a great time to join the team. This brand-new Talent and Leadership Specialist role will own and oversee our proposition, ensuring we’re firmly future focused and meeting the needs of the business.
The Talent and Leadership Specialist role involves guiding the development and implementation of the Talent and Leadership Management frameworks at NFU Mutual, that result in a mature and integrated approach to building effective Talent and Leadership pipelines to meet our core responsibility to ensure that we hold resilient succession plans in place for critical roles. This involves designing and delivering enterprise-wide frameworks, processes and resources that operationalise strategy to effectively and systematically attract, onboard, develop, engage, deploy and retain high performing employees, while using analytics and data-driven insights to continuously improve these initiatives. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in developing core assessment tools and frameworks that support career development, ensuring employees are well-prepared for both current and future organisational needs.
A core element of this role is the provision of expert guidance in identifying and addressing the growth needs of NFU Mutual’s leaders at all levels. You’ll oversee the design and delivery of leadership development solutions that align with the company’s culture and business objectives, working to build a strong leadership community. Leveraging external thought leadership and innovative methods, you’ll ensure the delivery of top-tier executive development options.
Key to successful delivery in this role will be driving adoption of the strategy and frameworks and will involve providing consultancy and strategic support to business partners to effectively embed talent and leadership frameworks. As a subject matter expert you will use insights from industry trends and emerging technologies to influence and foster a performance-driven culture that supports NFU Mutual’s long-term strategic goals.
