TALENT AND LEARNING MANAGER

Populous is an award-winning international design firm specializing in creating destinations that bring people and communities together for unforgettable experiences.
Our London Studio is looking for Talent and Learning Manager to take a leading role in guiding the growth and development of employees across our EMEA region.
This is a new role, so you will be able to bring your extensive experience to bear in developing a robust training framework to deliver high quality training and development programmes.
You will also develop processes to assess training needs, and to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of all our programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing training programmes to address various training needs, from management and leadership through to soft and technical skills
  • Designing and delivering effective and engaging training content, working with internal partners and external vendors as required
  • Developing and delivering a meaningful mentorship programme
  • Planning, organising and managing employee development and training events, including ordering necessary supplies and maintaining attendance records
  • Working closely with the wider HR Team, leveraging their knowledge of the business to ensure programmes are fit for purpose
  • Overseeing apprenticeships and licensure development for employees on the pathway to professional accreditation
  • Supporting in the delivery of existing training programmes
  • Creating evaluations for all training programmes, using them to drive continuous improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining a training calendar.
  • Inputting into the promotion and appraisal processes, including capturing developmental and training needs
