Overview:
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for helping assemble the team of associates that will operate in all departments throughout the resort. They will research and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. Using the approved job descriptions for each position, the Recruiting Manager will vet prospective candidates and work closely with the respective hiring managers to maintain a smooth flow in the interview process. They must maintain a strong pipeline of candidates that potentially could fill other positions in the future. This individual will also work with local agencies and educational institutions to promote job opportunities and generate interest and excitement about working at OKANA.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of three years recruiting experience required with 2+ years in hospitality preferred.
  • Experience in recruiting and supporting complex J-1 seasonal work and travel and J-1 internship programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage and discuss opportunities with candidates.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft 365 applications. Familiarity with iCISMS ATS is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of latest recruitment trends, including the use of Social Media tools for recruitment.
  • Ability to analyze reports, metrics and dashboards to make business decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with managers to assess staffing needs and advise recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers to refine strategies and meet objectives.
  • Cultivate diverse applicant pools through outreach to community resources and educational institutions.
  • Promote company presence in challenging markets through direct outreach and participation in local and international job fairs.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to recruiting and hiring.
  • Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Outstanding time management skills to meet deadlines and keep applicant interview process flow smooth.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, & organizational skills.
