Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role will lead the Group Talent Acquisition and Development functions, ensuring that talent initiatives align with business goals while focusing on attracting, developing and retaining exceptional talent.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align the group talent strategy with business goals, ensuring the attraction, development and retention of diverse talent and a robust leadership pipeline.
  • Design and implement the group talent acquisition and recruitment strategy using data driven insights to monitor the effectiveness of recruitment practices, success rates and time to hire high calibre talent.
  • Design and implement leadership development and talent management programmes to build a pipeline of diverse and capable leaders.
  • Develop and implement talent initiatives, reviews and an effective succession planning process by partnering with senior leaders to proactively plan and address key skill and capability requirements
  • Collaborate with Heads of HR and business leaders to identify high-potential employees and create strategies to drive their development.
  • Drive organisational change through targeted talent strategies that promote high performance.
  • Design and administer effective performance management systems. Set clear standards of performance that are measurable and ensure People Leaders provide employees regular feedback.
  • Responsibility for the development and delivery of Group training & development programmes and initiatives that directly support business objectives by addressing critical skill and knowledge gaps and enabling agility to respond to evolving business requirements
  • Lead the development of daa’s position as an employer of choice for talented and ambitious people, ensuring we attract, recruit and retain the right talent at all levels across the business.
  • Maximise return on investment in all talent acquisition and development initiatives, monitoring and reporting outcomes, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Extensive, successful talent management experience at a senior leadership level.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic and complex environment, at pace.
  • Strong people leadership, influencing skills and decision-making abilities.
