Reports to: Head of Northern Office & Head of Recruitment
Location: Home based / Suite 9, The Granary, 50 Barton Road, Worsley, M28 2EB and will be required to attend any of the Employer’s or the Group’s other locations as may be directed from time to time. The role may also require other travel depending upon the needs of the Company. The company supports a hybrid working pattern.
The Group: A leading management and professional services company based out of the UK and US, YMU provides a portfolio of services to a wide range of clients consisting of leaders in sport, entertainment, film, music, radio and television, including actors, athletes, authors, digital influencers, media rights holders, musicians, producers, TV personalities and voiceover artists.
Hours: This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 6.00pm. The post holder will need to be flexible to work outside of normal office hours to meet the needs of the post.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years’ experience of working within a professional sporting environment in a related or similar role
  • High level of communication and listening skills
  • Good recording and reporting skills
  • Competent IT skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Competent overall level of numeracy and literacy
  • Hold a full, clean driving licence

Responsibilities:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To source and introduce predominantly elite junior players as well as senior players.
  • To follow direction of the Head of the Northern Office and Head of Recruitment to liaise with said designated talent to co-ordinate introductory presentation meetings at any of the agency’s office locations.
  • To be involved in the recruitment process to the point of signing representation terms with the agency.
  • To assist in the servicing of all our young talent based in the Northwest, particularly servicing those players whom the role has had a direct influence in recruiting to the agency.

  • To always support the Company in their aims and objectives.

  • To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical, and social requirements.
  • To keep confidential any information gained regarding the Company, its clients, and its personnel.
  • To represent the Company in a professional manner.
  • To always maintain a flexible approach to work.
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.
