WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR -
Our ideal candidate would have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related tertiary qualification or progress towards qualification focusing on Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development, or other related areas;
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar position or looking for the next step in their career;
- Knowledge of HR functional disciplines (employee relations, staffing, compensation, organisational development, training, and employee development)
- Knowledge of Australian Employment legislation including but not limited to the Fair Work Act and the Legal Services Award
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and drive results with a sense of urgency and executing against the objectives
- Ability to influence, interact and consult with staff and partners, strong collaboration skills and effective stakeholder management
- Coaching, counselling, business acumen, and overall communication skills
- High level of discretion, diplomacy and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
Responsibilities:
The Talent Management Coordinator will support the national people team and work collaboratively with all staff, partners and managers to deliver a value added Talent Management (TM) service that supports the business operations and values of the office and Firm.
The Talent Management Coordinator assists with coordination of the day-to-day operations of the national Talent Management function based in the Sydney office. This role also provides TM advice to staff, partners and managers on people related issues; including policies, procedures and employment related legislation, acts as an employee champion, assess and anticipate people-related needs, communicate proactively with our People team and business management, maintain an effective level of business knowledge about the Australian office and Firm, its culture and its competition.
