License or Certification:

  • PHR, Six Sigma, or specialty certification preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, I/O Psychology, Data Analytics, or other field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience, with 1 year experience in implementing and evaluating projects and programs
  • Experience in healthcare preferred

Responsibilities:

POSITION PURPOSE

The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for driving continuous improvements to our current performance management and competency programs. The Specialist evaluates, implements, and refines processes related to organizational performance goals, tracking and development of competency models, and ensures the accuracy and auditing of job descriptions. This role facilitates recommendations for creating robust talent pools.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Provides technical support including LMS, SharePoint, data management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Liaises for vendor products/services, holding vendors accountable for commitments and obligations.
  • Drives projects to implementation, evaluation, and sustainability on time and within budget.
  • Accomplishes goals quality and quantity work in a timely manner.
  • Builds networks/partnerships; influences stakeholders; and demonstrates emotional intelligence.
  • Collaborates to integrate, coordinate, communicate, and implement plans that meet business needs.
  • Understands, provides explanation, and continuously builds knowledge of OD.
  • Demonstrates the flexibility to flow to work as needed.
  • Is responsible for reporting the measured results of initiatives.
  • Provides input into the budget.
  • Must Live in Birmingham AL. This is not a remote position.
