THE OPPORTUNITY:
Uphold is looking for a Talent Operations Coordinator to join our team in Porto. This role focuses on executing and implementing talent branding initiatives as directed by our Chief Innovation Officer, and managing the Porto office operations and logistics. As a Talent Operations Coordinator, you will handle the operational aspects of our employer branding efforts both externally and internally. This includes a mix of marketing tasks, community engagement, office management, logistics, and hands-on activities to promote a positive company culture.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/MS in marketing, business, communication, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to adjust time schedules and locations to support local initiatives.
- Experience in organizing events and managing communities or audiences.
- Relevant experience in sales or marketing roles.
- Good understanding of social media platforms and their social dynamics.
- Effective communication skills; a positive, team player.
- Be smart, analytical and creative problem solver.
- Detail oriented mindset, capable of setting up a plan and completing it according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Excitement to act as a team lead with significant ownership of the group’s efforts, galvanizing the people around you towards a mission.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Not be afraid of experimenting with alternative solutions to problems.
- Being open to quickly adjusting plans and expectations, when circumstances evolve.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing talent strategy: Execute the talent strategy developed with the Chief Innovation Officer to support team growth and enhance our employer brand.
- Office culture development: Spend significant time in the Porto office to handle logistics and foster a positive office culture, organizing internal events and activities.
- Office management: Make sure that the Porto office is fully operational, stocked, and a great environment for the whole team to come together and collaborate.
- Building relationships: Establish connections with government entities, academia, student groups, communities, and influencers to position our company as an attractive employer.
- Brand activation initiatives: Execute brand activation initiatives such as events, content marketing, coordinating logistics, suppliers, graphic designers, photographers, filmmakers, and software engineers.
- Communication schedule: Assist in managing a communication schedule that utilizes all produced materials and media, including owned, earned, and paid media.
- Metrics and analysis: Collect and analyze key metrics to improve the effectiveness of our branding operations.
- Ad spending management: Assist in managing ad spending to maximize the impact and reach of our branding initiatives.
