We’re looking for a visionary Talent & Organizational Development Manager to lead our people strategy. Hillarys are part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, so as Talent & OD Manager, you’ll be delivering our talent strategy for our HD UK brands, based at our Nottingham site. This is a hybrid role that gives you the flexibility to determine when it’s necessary to be on-site versus working from home.
You’ll be helping shape the future of our workforce and drive our continued success. This is a critical role where you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies that ensure we nurture and retain the best talent while driving employee engagement and performance across our organization.
As our Talent & Organisational Development Manager, here’s what you will be doing:
- Develop and implement a talent development strategy that aligns with current and future business needs.
- Embed a robust talent management process to identify and develop high-potential colleagues, ensuring a sustainable talent pipeline for key roles.
- Partner with the People Business Partners to align talent initiatives with business objectives and embed best practices across the organization.
- Work collaboratively with our international colleagues to drive global development initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration within the wider People Team.
- Take ownership of talent data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR, while producing insightful management reports.
- Continuously strive to improve departmental processes in line with best practices and legislative requirements.
Responsibilities:

- A recognized L&D qualification with a proven track record of delivering impactful learning and development initiatives.
- Experience with psychometric tools and deep knowledge of talent processes such as succession planning and career pathways.
- Proficiency with design software and Learning Management Systems, coupled with knowledge of Agile principles and their application within a talent framework.
