What’s on offer?
We are looking to appoint a National Talent & Resourcing Advisor to form part of our National Talent function based in Richmond, Melbourne, reporting to the National Talent Acquisition Manager. This position involves working closely with the management teams in the selection, sourcing, attraction and workforce planning for salary and wages vacancies in the Fulton Hogan Construction (FHC) and Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services (FHIS) business streams. You will support key regions in the organisation, with some of your responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Leverage a range of reactive and proactive sourcing channels to engage candidates to run a successful end-to-end selection process, advising stakeholders on most suitable approaches and outcomes.
- Forecast recruitment needs for the business streams that you support 3 to 6 months ahead of time, identifying alternative sourcing strategies where necessary.
- Actively engage with internal stakeholders across the business by regularly vising our project sites and continually building your understanding of Fulton Hogan’s operations, helping to provide appropriate resourcing solutions in the process.
- Implement and advise stakeholders on direct source and select target headhunting strategies.
- Build and maintain a professional relationship with stakeholders and the market by actively listening, encouraging open dialogue and effectively managing expectations.
- Drive special projects aligned to the recruitment strategy, helping to continuously improve our service to the business.
- Leverage internal and external data to create and drive fit-for-purpose recruitment strategies, effectively manage expectations and deliver suitable and timely recruitment outcomes.
- Stay up to date with recruitment-related market trends, share with the business and the Talent Team.
In this position, your ability to think outside the box, to develop innovative solutions, to challenge the status quo, the ability to assess situations from different perspectives, flexibility and ability to balance competing demands efficiently and effectively, will see you successfully deliver critical resourcing support to the business streams and regions that you support. You will have a full suite of tools to help you succeed.
How will you connect to the role?
Your ability to develop strong relationships and manage expectations with stakeholders at all levels of the business, as well as your proven experience in recruiting salary and wages positions across a range of disciplines using innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels will set you up for success. A professional mindset and a highly organised operating ethos will see you successfully manage a range of competing demands and deliver high-quality outcomes to agreed timeframes.
Having prior internal recruitment experience in Construction, Engineering or Mining industries is preferable. However, experience with an RPO or agency will also be considered.
