This role can be done in a hybrid model from Wroclaw or Warsaw

Responsibilities:

As Tax, Accounting & Statutory Reporting Manager you will play a key role for polish legal entities within tax subject matters. You will actively watch of Tax law changes and implementation of necessary measures to ensure tax compliance of Polish legal entities. You will take full responsibility for calculation of all taxes (in particular, support in VAT, CIT, WHT and excise duty), in addition to filing and preparation of taxes including returns. The scope of responsibility excludes calculation of personal income tax and social security contributions. The role includes verification of CIT Tax returns for Polish legal entities. Handling of transfer pricing matters (including transfer price monitoring /change requests) in collaboration with the CFO and necessary support from third - party provider. Support of transfer pricing adjustments process, preparation of local transfer pricing documentation and more generally assurance of compliance with local requirements as well as with company’s guidelines. You will take responsibility for compliance with MDR law requirements for all Polish Legal entities. This includes the ownership of the mandatory procedure and close collaboration with Group Tax to ensure transparency and alignment, verification of the correctness of accounting entries from the tax perspective, exchanging correspondence with Tax Offices and, if needed, tax audit coordination and support of external and internal financial audits. Tasks also covers control over accruals and provisions, supervision of Travel Expenses and HCP contracts Verification and approval of purchase requisitions (PRs) in SAP, preparation of statistical reports for the Regional Statistical Office, verification of and signing company documents and agreements including all archiving in the relevant areas, advice on tax and accounting issues to other employees, other teams and departments.
The strategic impact is to ensure correctness of calculation, accounting, payments of taxes and other levies. Responsibility of accounting and financial reporting process in quality and in alignment with group and local timelines.
