Responsibilities:

In the Tax Consulting Division at Forvis Mazars, we work with our clients to provide tax solutions that will help them achieve their objectives. By joining Forvis Mazars, you will be a part of one agile, integrated and collaborative team across sectors, services and geographies. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of clients, from private to large global corporations.

The role will involve will the provisions of high level practical tax advice to companies, trusts and high wealth individuals including the following:

  • Structuring of acquisition and sales of businesses and investments
  • All areas of corporate taxation, capital gains tax and employment taxes
  • Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
  • Taxation due diligence
  • Liaising and negotiating with the ATO on behalf of clients
  • Reporting directly to the tax partner
