Do you enjoy analyzing and interpreting tax-related data to support the tax department’s compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, and central initiatives?
We are in search of a Tax Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our team that is spread across various locations!
This role will involve using data analytics tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of tax processes, provide insights for tax planning, and support decision-making through detailed data analysis.
This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.

- Proficiency in any other European languages.
Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Collect, coordinate, and evaluate extensive tax-related datasets, develop and manage visual displays and reports for important measurements, and identify patterns to guide strategic choices and improve procedures.
- Provide data and support for US income tax filings, assist with various federal and state tax filings, and support tax provisions and financial statement disclosures.
- Identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency, develop data-driven solutions to streamline tax operations, and collaborate with IT to integrate tax data with financial systems.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation, develop data governance practices for consistency and quality, and prepare a global tax organizational chart.
- Provide data insights and support to tax team members, including assistance with ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs.
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in corporate finance, tax analysis or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with software systems such as HFM, Oracle and OneSource.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in English.
- Flexibility on working extended hours during peak tax periods.
