WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Analyst to support our Finance team. This role will be key in ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, providing strategic tax advice, and supporting the company’s growth across multiple jurisdictions. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax filings while supporting the development of automated tax processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file monthly/annual tax returns for the regions Platzi operates in.
  • Provide tax support to various departments to ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Perform tax account reconciliations and ensure alignment with the Accounting and Finance teams.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for external audits and assist with local tax audits and controversy matters.
  • Collaborate with the regional accounting and finance teams on corporate and intercompany transactions.
  • Work with tax technology and IT teams to develop and implement automated tax compliance solutions.
  • Drive process improvements related to tax compliance and reporting.
