Description:
We are seeking a Tax Analyst Intermediate (3-6 years) to join our team in the banking industry based in Tampa, Florida. This role is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our customer credit records and applications. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking action where necessary. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
- Maintain and update customer credit records.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions.
- Perform ancillary year-end reporting activities including account maintenance and data cleanup.
- Participate in enterprise projects, including requirements gathering, testing, and project implementation.
- Monitor tax form production including form validation and reconciliation.
- Create and deliver current state daily, weekly, and monthly reporting via appropriate desktop applications.
- Review and update department procedures regularly.
- Coordinate and process received information.
- Assist in preparing information for filing documents.
- Maintain awareness of current technical and business developments.
- Research and analyze tax issues as they arise.
- Assist with foreign country tax issues.
- Review account transaction activity for tax reporting errors and correct tax forms as needed.
- Assist in updating and maintaining information on earnings, profits, foreign taxes paid, parent company stock basis, and audit proceedings.
- Assist in preparing income tax provision calculation and review tax provision calculations.
- Proficiency in Data Entry and Reporting.
- Demonstrated ability in Research, Review, and Audit tasks.
- Experience with Workstation Support and Reconciliations.
- Detailed understanding of Production processes and Tax Accounting.
- Knowledge of SQL, Tax, and Monthly Reporting.
- Ability to design and implement Validation Plans.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Requirements Gathering.
- Expertise in P & L Calculation and SME.
- Experience in managing Proceedings and handling Tax Forms.
- Proven track record in Project Implementation.
- Familiarity with Ancillary operations and Account Transaction.
- Understanding of Department Procedures and Desktop Application.
- Experience in Tax Reporting.
