We are currently seeking applications from suitable candidates to join EY’s Tax practice at Senior Manager Level.
The Transformation (Project) Manager for Tax & Law Ireland will be responsible for leading and managing a range of transformation initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and technological capabilities of our Tax & Law. This role involves working closely with service line leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager will be instrumental in driving change, optimising processes, and implementing technology solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional qualification would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and experience in driving change within an organization.
  • Experience with financial modelling and budget management.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate future challenges

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the planning and implementation of transformation projects within the Tax & Law service line.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
