Position Overview: On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager specializing in FATCA and CRS. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of tax regulations and reporting requirements, with a strong focus on FATCA and CRS. Fluency in both German and English is essential for this role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the investment funds industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulations.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all FATCA and CRS-related activities for our client’s customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies and policies.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to FATCA and CRS requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on FATCA and CRS-related matters.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in tax regulations and reporting requirements.
