Description:

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our Construction/Contractor team in Northern Pittsburgh. This role involves managing internal tax operations and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The Tax Manager will be responsible for auditing, entity formation, and managing all aspects of corporate income tax.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal tax operations within the company
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Oversee the processing of annual income tax provisions
  • Lead auditing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage entity formation processes
  • Oversee all aspects of corporate income tax
  • Ensure corporate tax compliance
  • Utilize accounting software systems effectively for operations
  • Apply understanding of construction accounting in managing tax operations
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Tax Management in a public or corporate setting
  • Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions and Annual Income Tax Provision
  • Experience in Auditing and Compliance is necessary
  • Expertise in Entity Formation, Corporate Income Tax, and Corporate Tax Compliance
  • Prior experience in Construction Accounting is a must
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations applicable to the construction industry
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification is preferred.
