Description:
Purpose of Role:
Complete all assigned tasks and processes, operating within the controls, guidelines and procedures as established by the team’s First Line Manager, including assisting other team members where required.
Some aspects of this role are client-facing and require a strong customer focus.
- Manage tax reclaim processing and filing where required
- European Court of Justice data management
- Complete daily Cross Settlement Trade Identifier (CSTI) reporting and identify changes needed with the global tax tables.
- Provide excellent customer service via research and resolution of inquiries (internal and external customers).
- Cash break investigation, resolution and management
- Preparing Tax reports , collection of tax reports and consolidating EMEA reports
- Build and maintain cross-location collaborative relationships across the team, department, business unit, clients, internal business partners and subcustodians
- Ad-hoc projects and functions as and when required
- Manage tax documentation tracking and collection from HMRC and clients to assist in the maximization of client tax exemption and reduction at source.
- Positively contribute towards process improvements, mitigate risk and eliminate waste, both on a local and global level.

Training and Competency
The candidate need not already have been assessed as competent in the following caught activity: Employees overseeing on a day to day basis safeguarding and administering investments or holding client money, but is required to achieve competency within 24 months
