Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
Salary Range: $25.9549 - $31.5467/hour. Salary reflects Step 1 and Step 5 of a 7-step pay scale. Salary at hiring will be dependent upon the applicant’s education, experience, and training.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direction, performs a variety of technical and para-professional accounting duties; participates in the maintenance of the City’s automated accounting systems; reviews routine accounting records for accuracy; and prepares routine financial reports, statements, and special financial analysis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
