Description:
Our client, a reputable CPA firm located in Lakeland, Florida, provides a comprehensive range of accounting and tax services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals and businesses. The firm is known for its expertise in tax planning, audit and assurance services, state and local tax filings, payroll, and bookkeeping. The Tax Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in our client’s tax department, handling various tax-related tasks to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies for clients.
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
Assist in tax planning and research to develop and implement tax-efficient strategies
Manage and file state and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
Perform detailed data analysis and generate reports using Microsoft Excel
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and respond to tax-related inquiries
Collaborate with senior staff to identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and provide excellent customer service to clients.
