Job Description
The Tax Technology Analyst will report to the Senior Global Indirect Tax Technology Manager and will be responsible for both indirect and direct tax technology for Asia and ANZ. With AECOM’s flexibility, you can base yourself in either our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office.
The main responsibilities of this role include leading the Vertex O International implementation and assisting with the development, management, maintenance, and testing of the tax systems at AECOM.
This position will support tax technology throughout AECOM by identifying and implementing new technology and/or process improvements to drive compliance and savings along with ensuring tax team members are properly trained.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Tax Engine and Tax Compliance implementations, maintenance and documentation of the indirect tax automation and reporting process tools (Vertex O, VITR, SAF-T, Real Time Reporting, e-invoicing etc)
  • Assess, document, and improve processes and data flows
  • Drive data analytics tools (Alteryx, Power BI) to increase efficiency for tax activities, including designing and developing Alteryx workflows and providing Alteryx training across AECOM
