Description:

We are solving one of the largest yet unsolved problems in global e-commerce. Our tax automation software enables companies such as Uber, Zoom, Booking.com, Squarespace and Rappi to expand their international offerings more quickly and stay tax compliant.
As a Tax Technology Specialist in E-Invoicing, you will be responsible for scoping and then building the tax technical content of our product as we expand country coverage. Reporting to our Senior Tax Manager, you will work alongside a highly skilled cross-functional E-Invoicing and Digital Reporting team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least two years of experience in indirect tax
  • Experience researching e-invoicing and digital reporting legislation, regulations, and technical documentation in-house or at a third-party provider.
  • Ability to support the Product team with research and communicate technical tax issues clearly to non-tax team members (eg. engineers, sales, and marketing).
  • Relevant tax education and broad knowledge of current and upcoming digital reporting laws and regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment where flexibility, adaptability, and positivity are key.
  • Like to solve problems, turning complex problems into simple solutions.
  • Are self-directed and capable of working autonomously.
  • Passionate about technology and innovation.
  • Native or close to native proficiency in English, secondary languages are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • As a skilled researcher adept at reading legislation from various countries, you will monitor e-invoicing and digital reporting requirements globally, analyze for impact, and deliver information to relevant stakeholders.
  • In addition to working with our product team, you will be responsible for creating content to support our sales and marketing team. You will help us better deliver our value proposition and content to the tax community.
