ABOUT THE TEAM

The Y Schools team is on a mission to support our Young People with their education is a safe and inclusive environment. We do this by having amazing teachers, youth workers, counsellors and curriculum to create an environment that makes people want to be at school and learn.
Teachers play a critical role in our schools and the engagement of our young people. Working with other amazingly successful peers, you will deliver curriculum and help our young people achieve their educational goals. This is not just a normal teaching position; it is a role where you make a difference every day to young people that have complex backgrounds and different learning abilities. Even a simple conversation can make a huge change to our young people.
Our YMCA Junior Brisbane South Campus are seeking a passionate Teacher – In Charge on a Permanent, Full-Time basis based in Acacia Ridge.

The position of the Teacher – In Charge will support the Head of School and Head of Campus in their school leadership. To achieve educational wellbeing and vocational objectives. This position can effectively assume the normal operational leadership duties and responsibilities of a Campus.
