We are looking for a talented Hairdressing and Barbering Teacher who can bring their expertise to our vibrant educational community. As a crucial member, you will deliver high quality, inspirational practical and theoretical training at level 2 and 3 You will use your professional knowledge and flairto teach students essential techniques from classic to modern trends, ensuring students gain the skills and confidence they need to secceed in the industry.
The successful candidate will predominately teach acting across our vocational hairdressing and barbering programmes at level 2 and level 3. The College delivers VCTC courses. An ability to contribute to other areas of college life such as units on level 1 courses would be an advantage. You will also be required to contribute to the college wide enrichment activities.
The successufl candidate should be well qualified in hairdressing and barbering and hold assessor qualifications. they should also hold a teaching qualificaiton or be willing to undertake the PGCE offered thorugh the College in partnership with the Univeristy of Brighton.
Previous post 16 experience is not essential. This is also an ideal opportunity for a professional hairdresser who has previously taught trainees in salon to enter post 16. You will be working within an experienced, supportive team.

This role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as ECTs. The College offers the ECT programme and a successful candidate could complete their first term of ECT through the College.
