Description:
Off-Campus Teacher (Probationary Part-Time)
Location: Palliser Education Centre
Anticipated Start Date: September 16, 2024 (or date mutually agreeable)
Anticipated Start Date: June 27, 2025
Assignment: Off Campus Teacher
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Alberta Teaching Certificate;
Previous experience administering learning curriculums;
Successful Criminal Reference Check, including vulnerable sectors (within 3 months of contract start date).

In order to maintain a safe and secure working environment, applicants new to The Palliser School Division must provide:
Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector check from Local Police Service or RCMP detachment;

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with administrators and teachers to gain insight as to how each Palliser school executes their off-campus programs and how they can assist with these off-campus opportunities;
Develop and maintain contacts with business and industry in the community;
Build and oversee Off Campus programs including Dual Credit, Work Experience, Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) and Green Certificate;
Oversee student safety protocols/procedures to ensure that students are working in a safe and respectful work environment;
Ensure that all work agreements or contracts have been signed by the student, the student’s parent/guardian, the employer and the school authority designee;
Track data to inform instructional practice and program effectiveness to make informed decisions about off campus program
