Description:
Reading Rock Stars is seeking an experienced tutor to deliver their reading, writing, and spelling programs to children aged 3-12. The position requires teaching small groups and one-on-one, with classes held in the evenings after school and on Saturdays during the school term.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate diploma in teaching or early childhood education.
- Prior teaching experience.
- Familiarity with phonics and the ability to apply various phonics methodologies effectively.
The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Word, OneNote, and PowerPoint. Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing homework tasks.
- Providing reports on student progress.
- Maintaining a child-safe teaching environment.
