ABOUT US
The Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering is one of the largest Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering departments in the UK. The Department is proud to host internationally leading research groups covering a broad range of activities and spread over several sites. Our staff and students have a diverse range of interests and expertise, covering many areas of physics, engineering, medicine, physiology, computer science, and mathematics. Our focus is on excellent academic research to identify new technologies and methods for the diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases.
Our Teaching & Learning team sits within the Professional Services Admin team within the department which helps facilitate the smooth running of our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver all on all aspects of programme administration for our educational programmes. They will have experience of working with in a busy office environment, ability to liaise with academics and students from different backgrounds. As well, as being able to deal with high volumes of processing during busy periods.
They are committed to high quality service provision, they will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be able to prioritise a varied workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role will provide support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion, incorporating supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student and course records. The role holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required in order to adequately execute the duties outlined.
Reporting to the Senior Teaching and Learning Administrator and in conjunction with relevant academic staff, the postholder will provide specialist administration to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects of its administration. This post will assist in achieving high quality and timely service to current and prospective students, and staff relating to the designated courses/programmes and beyond.
