Teaching and Learning Officer (Curriculum and Programmes)

We are looking to recruit to the role of Teaching and Learning Officer (Curriculum and Programmes) within the School of Social Sciences in the Faculty of Humanities. This is a full time fixed-term role which is available from 1 September 2024 for 24 months.
This role forms part of the School Teaching, Learning and Student Experience team and you will be responsible for supporting the management and delivery of teaching and learning activities in the School. This will include working collaboratively with key academic staff and professional services staff within the School, Faculty and University.
The successful candidate will be responsible for data management, the delivery and production of relevant content for programme handbooks, supporting the management and delivery of the curriculum within the School; and to provide an expert support service to key stakeholders on all aspects of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught programme management and curriculum development.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience and up to date knowledge of teaching and learning, excellent communication skills and ability to manage and develop a team of staff. You will have a flexible approach to work and the ability to meet operational requirements, with excellent planning, organisational and project management skills.
