TEACHING ASSISTANT (FULL-TIME) – IMMEDIATE START

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a “Good” rated, two-form entry primary school in the Long Ditton/Thames Ditton area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a strong and supportive leadership team, providing vital support in Year 2.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting a child with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis, helping them to access the curriculum and engage in learning
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting resources to meet individual needs
- Supporting the child with emotional regulation and behaviour, following the school’s inclusive approach
- Liaising with parents, staff, and external professionals to ensure continuity of care
