Teaching Assistant L1 or L2 depending on experience

THE JOB ITSELF

Withernsea High School is located in the pleasant, rural seaside town of Withernsea and serves the population of the town and surrounding villages.
The successful candidates will work with individual students who may have learning, physical, behavioural or emotional difficulties, as well as with small groups within the classroom under the guidance of the SENCO.
The successful candidate will be expected to work some break and lunchtime duties as required, as part of these contractual hours.
For the above post, you should be flexible, able to work independently, meet pre-determined deadlines and possess good verbal communication skills.
The successful applicants should be proficient in building positive relationships with students, together with a professional approach with their teachers and other members of the Inclusion Team. A friendly, outgoing but firm personality is essential.
