We have a job vacancy for a Level 2 teaching assistant position (expected Year 4) starting on Monday 28th October (or earlier) for an initial 12 month contract working 31 hours per week.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold the appropriate teaching assistant qualification
  • Be comfortable to work across all primary ages
  • Be a role model for the children and display our school values at all times.
  • Understand the importance of building relationships with children.
  • Have good numeracy & literacy skills.
  • Be encouraging, patient and kind.
  • Be able to support groups and individuals to meet their potential.
  • Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Have effective communication and organisation skills.
  • Have a good understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of children remains the highest priority.
  • Continue to develop in ongoing professional development.
