WORKING WITH US AS A TEACHING FELLOW IN CIVIL ENGINEERING

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teaching Fellow in the area of Civil Engineering with a relevant subject specialism and a strong record of success in the teaching of a diverse range of modules. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with knowledge and experience in the areas of construction, structural analysis or structural design at undergraduate level.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD qualification in a relevant subject area, maintain registration with an engineering professional body, demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to a practical, laboratory practice-based, and industry-informed teaching, and lead and contribute to the wider School activities for its continued growth.
To plan, design, develop and deliver a range of high-quality programmes of study at all levels, ensuring that programme design and delivery comply with the academic quality standards and regulations of the University. To supervise students at all levels and, where required, to co-ordinate or supervise the work of research assistants and PhD students.
