Description:
This fixed-term post (1 Oct 24 – 31 Dec 24) is to provide replacement teaching while the post holder Dr Rosalind Temple is on leave.
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of French and Linguistics within the Sub-Faculty of French and the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics by offering 8 hours of lectures or seminars over the course of Michaelmas Term.
They will also be responsible during Full Term for providing on average eight contact hours a week of undergraduate tuition in French Linguistics and Phonetics for New College and across various colleges.
The successful candidate will be expected to give tutorials (small-group teaching, typically of 2–3 students) and seminars, to first-, second-, and fourth-year undergraduates. This involves tutorials and seminars for first year students on phonetics; tutorials and seminars in French Linguistics for second-years and finalists
