Description:
ABOUT YOU
You will be a committed and enthusiastic teacher, with prior experience of teaching in higher education and a familiarity with innovative pedagogic approaches which you will incorporate these into our undergraduate programmes. You will have expertise in teaching International Politics, preferably with an interest in the politics of Latin America (Global South) and a PhD complete, or close to completion, in a relevant field such as International Relations.
Responsibilities:
You will contribute to the continued development of the School’s teaching and scholarship in the area of International Politics. You will have a particular focus on delivering teaching in International Relations in the undergraduate and taught postgraduate curricula, on campus-based programmes, as well as the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. You will be responsible to the Head of the School of History, Politics and International Relations (HyPIR) and will undertake scholarship, teaching and administration and other activities supporting the work of the School, developing and enhancing its reputation and delivering an innovative curriculum on campus.
