Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Team Administrator to join our Manchester based team of Surveyors. The role is suited to individuals who are experienced in providing administration support in a professional services environment. The successful candidates will work within our Gateley Vinden team in Manchester. Alongside this, you’ll support the wider national team on a wide variety of matters.
The successful candidate will assist fee earners with the following:
- Opening new matters and clients and performing due diligence checks.
- Maintain files on the internal case management system.
- Complete forms as instructed by the fee earners.
- Making calls to clients and third parties.
- Drafting documents and formatting to company standard.
- Drafting invoices for work done by the fee earners.
- Closing files (ensuring all outstanding invoices and fees are settled).
- Diary management.
- Answering the phone and dealing appropriately with new enquiries and from insurance clients, loss adjusters and policy holders and either providing help or directing them to the correct person.
- Processing incoming and outgoing post – taking any cheques that come into the bank.
- Hotel, rail and flight booking via company travel portal.
- Proof-reading complex documents
