Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

Undertake day-to-day coordination of translation and transcription projects and engage in operational support initiatives in Language Services.
The role is also responsible for the allocation of work to a small team of Customer Service Officers and Translators/Interpreters and providing guidance on best practices in task and activity management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Language Services division, you will:

  • Act as an escalation point for the team to resolve complex enquiries.
  • Coordinate translation and transcription projects of various complexity.
  • Allocate work and control quality and timeliness of the services provided and escalate any issues in accordance with the agency policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment, participating actively in team meetings and projects, and provide advice on the effective delivery of services.
  • Develop sound relationships with various stakeholders.

You’ll work as part of a multicultural team of customer service officers and translators in the Language Services division that provides translation, transcription and interpreting services to a wide range of customers.
