TEAM DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Hours: - 35 hours per week
Pay: - £25,000 + You will be paid mileage on all business travel 40p per mile

Windrush Care is actively seeking a Team Development Coordinator to join our busy office in the centre of Cheltenham. Working alongside our Care Coordinator and others in our team to bring great levels of care to our clients and to support our ever-growing staff team.

Responsibilities:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the company on-call system we provide during out of hours, by supporting our Field Care Supervisors and Senior Home Carers who cover this
  • Develop, coordinate and supervise the team of Field Care Supervisors and Senior Home Carers, by leading monthly team meetings
  • Create weekly staffing reports and monitor employee performance alongside our Care Coordinator
  • Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions using the current care planning software with Care Coordinator
  • Compile and review care plans and risk assessments for all clients in accordance with CQC regulations.
  • Support recruitment in candidate screening and attend interviews in support of the Recruitment Manager
  • Support the Care Management Team with performance evaluations/supervisions and disciplinary meetings where appropriate.
  • To carry out auditing on daily notes, medication administration as well as clocking in and out of care staff.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new staff during the training and induction sessions
  • Ensuring that our service complies with CQC requirements.
  • Ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Although this is mainly an office-based role your hours could include some weekend work to provide cover depending on the needs of the business and will include covering care visits when required.
    This position is a full-time role, and you will be required to take part in the on-call rota. We can only consider applicants that have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as our clients are based in Cheltenham and North Cotswolds. The successful candidate will show a high level of commitment and flexibility and be able to work autonomously but equally work well within a team from day one.
    You will be paid mileage on all business travel.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • To be resident in and around Gloucestershire (Essential)
  • At least 5 years’ experience of working in front line care services (Preferred)
  • At least 2 years’ experience within a senior role (Preferred )
  • Experience of performing out of office on-call (Preferred)
  • To have or be willing to complete QCF in Adult Health and Social Care Level 3
