Whether SSP, DSP, DMP or adserving - as a first mover, we and our 200 employees always have the right solution for successful operations within the digital advertising market.
For two of our tech teams, AdBooking and Mobile, we are looking for a people manager (f/m/d), who is going to look after their professional growth and conduct -among others- 1on1s and performance reviews. Moreover, the team lead is the one to resolve conflicts, ensure sustainable results and efficient collaboration, and is accountable for the teams’ results.
YOUR ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Solid experience with leading teams with a servant leadership style, including 1on1s, perf reviews, career path development, and creating an environment for everyone to thrive in
- A good understanding for software development (preferably gained from hands-on experience) is required
- Having worked with the exact technologies used by the teams (PHP, JavaScript, Kotlin/Java, Swift/Objective-C) is preferred
- Experience with managing and incentivizing modernization of legacy projects to using state-of-the-art technologies is a plus
- Very good communication skills, which help you resolve any conflict that might arise and explain complex systems in simple terms to non-experts. Communication skills in German is a plus
- In terms of personality traits, you are friendly yet determined and able to navigate ambiguity well
Responsibilities:
- You help the teams with creating, executing, and updating a technical strategy to modernize the components they own
- You support each developer with growing their knowledge and impact by setting progression goals
- You align with other tech leads, product owners, scrum masters, and software architects on a wide variety of topics, such as infrastructure, sustainability, external resources, tech strategy etc
- You report to the Director of Engineering
