We are looking for your support as Team Lead Aircraft Component Assembly (m/f/d) at Segula Technologies Services GmbH for the earliest availbility in an indefinite employment relationship. As part of a work/service contract, the project-related location is: Donauwörth.
Job Description
As Team Lead Aircraft Main Component Assembly (MCA) (m/f/d) you are responsible for the management of the assembly of aircraft components in accordance with the increased quality and safety standards of aviation. This work can take place directly on the aircraft or in a specialist area (shop).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed training in the technical field with at least 5 years of professional experience in the aviation industry or a comparable sector
  • Further training as a master craftsman (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d) is desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of aviation safety regulations and with regard to FOD
  • Confident handling of technical documentation: Work orders, drawings, SOI, etc. as well as with the appropriate tools for testing and inspection
  • Distinct solution orientation
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • Fluent German and good English skills

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating the deployment of all team members
  • Effective and motivating team leadership and clear communication within the team
  • Ensuring efficient communication between client and own company in an international context
  • Ensuring and monitoring key performance indicators (KPI, quality assurance)
  • Organizing the provision of materials and resources in close coordination with the client’s supply chain
  • Compliance with and assurance of all work requirements, hygiene and safety regulations, FOD
  • Responsibility for the smooth processes and work steps
  • Collaboration, instruction and supervision in the following activities:
  • Assembly activities on and off aircrafts according to work instructions, drawing sets and other technical documents (e.g. tank, doors, windows and other structural components)
  • Carrying out general activities in production (e.g. incoming inspection, preparation, etc.)
  • Checking the assembly work carried out and compliance with production requirements
  • Training employees and ensuring a safe working environment
