Your Responsibilities
The Student Affairs team is a part of Graduate School Office that manages all administrative matters related to PhD students’ lifecycle, as well as onboarding of predoctoral scholars. As the Team Lead of the Student Affairs, you will lead a team of experienced and enthusiastic administrators and provide excellent support for students enrolled in ISTA PhD program.
- Lead and further develop the Student Affairs team according to the SOP: Function of Team leader (TL)
- Provide guidance, advice, and administrative services to students, supervisors, and key faculty in their relation to Graduate School; Enhance student experience in the PhD program
- Ensure continuous improvement of administrative processes related to student lifecycle, timely submission of reports, and students’ compliance with Graduate School rules and policies
- Manage “Students and Curriculum’ budget, including special projects
- Serve as the main communication interface to internal stakeholders (key faculty, Graduate Students Association, Academic Affairs, HR)
Your Profile
- University degree or equivalent
- Minimum five years of work experience in an international academic environment in a comparable position; work experience in a supervising function is of advantage
- Strong leadership skills and strategic vision
- Advanced knowledge of international best practices in doctoral programs administration
- Excellent command of English (written & spoken)
- Strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive approach and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
