Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree level or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, Maths, or a closely related field as well as several years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Risk Management.
- Experience in leading diverse, cross-cultural teams, with a proven ability to contribute to team cohesion with strong focus on fostering teamwork and collaboration as well as experience in interacting with top management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as proven experience in developing clear and impactful presentation content.
- Proven ability to apply analytical and structured approaches to complex issues with the capacity to balance high-quality delivery with pragmatic solutions.
- Collaboration, Enthusiasm, assertiveness, and strong decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.Business fluent English language skills and good German language skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- Define clear roles and responsibilities for our Gas fleet across the UK, the Netherland, Turkey and Germany and foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving the team towards “best-in-class” planning and reporting frameworks.
- Govern the production of financial forecasts for the Gas Division, linking in to and managing the Business Plan process on an annual basis.
- Analyse key value drivers (KPIs) and provide stakeholders with key insights into major performance issues as well as deliver a comprehensive assessment of risks and opportunities against latest financial forecasts.
- Capture, analyse and report the cashflow and working capital forecasts of the UK and the Turkish gas powerplants to prepare the required NPVs for both the Capacity Market and impairment calculations.
- Ensure robust governance and control over data throughout digitalization projects and lead future development and changes in reporting tools driving continuous improvements.
- Interface directly with Senior Management to explain business performance.Manage the ongoing framework and process for business planning within the Gas Division ensuring timely preparation of consolidated business plans and forecasts.
